By accessing or using DearLocket ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and contributors.
DearLocket is a digital time capsule platform that enables users to create, store, and schedule the delivery of personal messages — including text, video, audio, and images — to designated recipients at a future date. We are committed to preserving your content and delivering it as intended.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
You retain full ownership of all content you upload to DearLocket. By uploading content, you grant DearLocket a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and deliver that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
You may not upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party. DearLocket reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms and to suspend or terminate accounts responsible for such content.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. DearLocket offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. Lifetime deals carry a 60-day refund guarantee. Gift capsule purchases are non-refundable once a capsule has been viewed by the recipient.
DearLocket maintains a continuity plan to ensure capsule delivery even in the event of business closure. Customer funds are held in a dedicated escrow account, and a designated trustee organisation is contracted to fulfil all scheduled deliveries should DearLocket cease operations. Details of the continuity arrangement are available on request.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DearLocket shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you to DearLocket in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
DearLocket accepts cryptocurrency payments including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT on TRC-20), and USD Coin (USDC on Solana). By paying with cryptocurrency you agree to the following conditions:
Correct network responsibility. You are solely responsible for sending the correct cryptocurrency to the correct wallet address on the correct network. DearLocket is not liable for funds lost due to sending the wrong coin, using the wrong network, or entering an incorrect address.
Confirmation requirement. After sending payment, you must email your transaction ID to crypto@dearlocket.com along with your account email. Your plan will be activated within 1 hour of transaction confirmation on the relevant blockchain.
Price at time of payment. Cryptocurrency amounts are calculated at the exchange rate at the time of the transaction. DearLocket is not responsible for price fluctuations between the time of quoting and the time of sending.
No chargebacks. Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible by nature. Refunds for crypto payments are processed manually and returned in the equivalent USD value at the time of the refund request, not at the time of the original payment.
Network fees. Any blockchain network fees (gas fees, miner fees) are your responsibility and are not covered by DearLocket. DearLocket charges no additional processing fees for crypto payments.

DearLocket ("we", "us", "our") is a digital time capsule platform. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our Service.
We collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, payment information, and the content of your capsules. We also automatically collect certain technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and usage data when you interact with our Service.
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, process payments, send transactional emails, deliver your capsules to recipients, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your personal data to third parties under any circumstances.
All capsule content is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption and in transit using TLS 1.3. Our servers are geographically distributed and regularly backed up. DearLocket employees do not have access to the content of your capsules — only to the metadata required to deliver them.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Capsule content is retained until the scheduled delivery date, after which it is accessible only to the recipient. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
We use essential cookies to operate the Service and analytics cookies to understand how users interact with our platform. You may disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings at any time. Disabling cookies may affect certain features of the Service.
We use trusted third-party services including Paddle for payment processing and cloud providers for storage. These partners are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection agreements. We share only the minimum data necessary for them to provide their services.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You may also request a copy of the data we hold about you, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@dearlocket.com.
DearLocket is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
When you pay with cryptocurrency, we collect and process the following information:
Transaction ID. The blockchain transaction ID (TXID) you provide to us via email is stored to verify and activate your account. This is a public identifier on the blockchain and does not constitute personal data in itself.
Wallet address. We do not store your sending wallet address. Our displayed wallet addresses (BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC) are public-facing and visible on their respective blockchains. All blockchain transactions are publicly verifiable and immutable by nature.
No card data collected. Crypto payments do not involve credit card or bank account details. No financial credentials are transmitted to or stored by DearLocket.
Email correspondence. Emails sent to crypto@dearlocket.com for payment confirmation are retained for account verification and support purposes. You may request deletion of this correspondence at any time, subject to our legal record-keeping obligations.

If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase. After 30 days, subscriptions are non-refundable but you may cancel anytime to stop future charges. You retain full access until the end of your billing period.
Our lifetime deal includes a 60-day money-back guarantee — no questions asked. Contact us within 60 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund within 5 business days.
Gift capsules may be refunded within 14 days of purchase, provided the capsule has not been viewed by the recipient. Once opened, the purchase is fulfilled and non-refundable. Technical delivery failures always qualify for a full refund or free re-delivery.
Our 14-day free trial requires no credit card. You will never be charged without explicit confirmation. The 30-day refund window applies from the date of your first charge if you upgrade.
If DearLocket fails to deliver a capsule on its scheduled date due to a fault on our side, we will offer a full refund or re-delivery at the sender's preference. We will notify you proactively of any delivery issues.
Email refunds@dearlocket.com with your account email and order details. We respond within 24 hours and process approved refunds within 5 business days to your original payment method.
Our promise

Refunds for cryptocurrency payments are subject to the following additional conditions, in addition to the standard refund terms above:
Irreversibility of blockchain transactions. Cryptocurrency transactions cannot be reversed on the blockchain. All crypto refunds are processed manually by DearLocket and returned to a wallet address you provide.
Refund value. Crypto refunds are returned in the equivalent USD value at the time of the refund request — not at the time of the original payment. DearLocket is not responsible for any gain or loss due to cryptocurrency price fluctuations between the date of payment and the date of refund.
No refund for wrong network or wrong coin. DearLocket cannot refund payments sent to the wrong wallet address, on the wrong network, or in the wrong cryptocurrency. Please always verify the address and network carefully before sending. The ⚠️ warning displayed at checkout is a binding acknowledgement of this condition.
Network fees non-refundable. Blockchain network fees (gas fees, miner fees) paid when sending a transaction are non-refundable under any circumstances, as these are paid to the network and not to DearLocket.
How to request a crypto refund. Email refunds@dearlocket.com with your transaction ID (TXID), the coin and network used, the amount sent, your account email, and the wallet address you'd like the refund sent to. We aim to process crypto refunds within 5 business days.

Always verify the address before sending. DearLocket will never ask you to send to a different address via email or chat.
DearLocket accepts Bitcoin (BTC) on the Bitcoin network, Ethereum (ETH) on ERC-20, Tether (USDT) on TRC-20 (Tron), and USD Coin (USDC) on the Solana network. Payments sent on any other network or in any other currency are not supported and may result in permanent loss of funds.
To complete a crypto payment: (1) select your plan, (2) open the crypto checkout modal, (3) select your coin, (4) send the correct amount to the displayed wallet address, (5) email your transaction ID (TXID) to crypto@dearlocket.com with your account email. Your plan will be activated within 1 hour of blockchain confirmation.
Correct network. You must send each coin on the correct network. ETH on ERC-20, USDT on TRC-20, USDC on Solana, BTC on Bitcoin. Sending on the wrong network will result in loss of funds that DearLocket cannot recover.
Correct amount. Send the USD equivalent of your chosen plan at the time of payment. Minor discrepancies due to exchange rate movements are handled at our discretion.
Network fees. All blockchain network fees are your responsibility. DearLocket charges no additional crypto processing fees.
DearLocket will never ask you to send cryptocurrency to an address other than those published on this page and in the checkout modal. If you receive any communication asking you to send funds to a different address, do not comply and report it to security@dearlocket.com immediately. Always verify wallet addresses character by character before sending.
Crypto refunds are subject to the terms in our Refund Policy. Refunded amounts are calculated in USD at the time of the refund request. Network fees are non-refundable. Wrong network or wrong coin payments cannot be refunded by DearLocket. To request a refund, email refunds@dearlocket.com with your TXID, coin, network, amount, account email, and a destination wallet address.
